She serves as the GEEP representative and is the Director of Climate Change Services at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in the Philippines. Additionally, she is the Philippine contact person for the ASEAN Environmental Education and Climate Change Working Group.

Tokie Izaki is the Deputy Director of the Office of Environmental Education at the Ministry of the Environment in Japan. She has highlighted the potential of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in higher education institutions (HEIs) to achieve circular economy initiatives, leading to a network of HEI in the Asia-Pacific region.

Fuangarun Preededilok promotes sustainable development education in Thailand, which includes training undergraduates and teachers at the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University. Fuangarun is also dedicated to advancing further education for current primary and secondary school teachers and investing in innovative research and development in sustainable development. Additionally, Fuangarun served as a lecturer at the GEEP Online International Conference in 2022 and the GEEP International Conference in 2023.

Professor Lee conducts research on curriculum development, teaching strategies, and teacher development in the fields of environmental education (EE) and education for sustainable development (ESD). He has served as the president of the Korean Society for Environmental Education and as the chairman of the Sustainable Development Education Committee of the Korean National Commission for UNESCO.

Thiaga Nadeson is the Head of Education and Markets at WWF-Malaysia, primarily focusing on supporting Environmental Education and Education for Sustainable Development in Malaysia. He is accomplished in organizational strategy for sustainable development, sustainability reporting, regulation, and governance. As an expert in Environmental Education, Thiaga represented the Malaysian government through the Ministry of Education Malaysia at the UNESCO World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development.


 

Ugyen Tshomo

Ugyen Tshomo is committed to addressing climate change and waste issues. She has collaborated with organizations such as UNEP-IETC, IGES, WWF, and the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety on projects like the Ecology Note of Bhutan and Waste and Climate Change (WCC).

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai is Head of International Collaboration of the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication, the State agency in charge of environmental education and communication in Vietnam, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam. Mrs. Mai hold a MSc. degree on Environmental Management from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and participated in various training courses, workshops on sustainable consumption and sustainable development. Mrs. Mai has more than 15-year working experience on environmental projects in different craft villages and industrial zones across Vietnam, along with experiences on environmental communication and education. She has organized many environmental education events, training courses and awards for students, children as well as the adults nationwide.

Professor Tzu-Chau Chang obtained his Ph.D. in Science Education from Cornell University and served as the executive secretary of the Environmental Protection Division at the Ministry of Education in Taiwan, where he coordinated national environmental education programs from 2008 to 2012. He is currently a professor at the Graduate Institute of Environmental Education at National Taiwan Normal University and also serves as the coordinator of the GEEP Asia Pacific Regional Center (APRC) for Environmental Education in Taiwan.
