An Immersive Environmental Learning Site in Vietnam

Nestled in the scenic landscape of Hoa Binh province, just two hours from Hanoi, Soi Resort in Farm is an innovative model combining eco-tourism with environmental education. Operated by HCJ Education Investment & Development Joint Stock Company, this 18-hectare site offers a refreshing blend of cultural immersion, clean farming experiences, and sustainability learning for youth.

As part of the 2025 GEEP Asia-Pacific International Internship Program, international interns visiting Soi Resort in Farm will engage in a week-long learning journey that integrates traditional Vietnamese agriculture, folk culture, and entrepreneurship. Activities include guided farm tours, cultural field visits to Muong villages and Vietnam’s first money printing factory, as well as practical training in resort operations and agricultural marketing.

Interns will also participate in a business project challenge, developing and presenting eco-friendly tourism or product concepts based on local specialties such as red-fleshed dragon fruits or Diễn grapefruits.

Set against the backdrop of orchards, mountains, and rivers, the resort features dorm-style accommodations, eco-friendly villas, and a restaurant serving locally sourced food. These facilities make it an ideal space for reflection, creativity, and cross-cultural exchange.

Through this experience, interns gain deeper insights into sustainable rural development while contributing to the local community’s educational vision.
