【Special Topic】Environmental Youth Leader Project of Taiwan EPA
Beginning in 2020, Taiwan EPA has initiated a biennial Young Environmental Leaders Competition to encourage young people to share their innovative actions and contributions to environmental issues.
In addition to their knowledge in the field of environmental education and global vision, participants are also expected to demonstrate their leadership and influence and take environmental action to bring about change. Also, the ability to communicate and express themselves, as well as the enthusiasm to participate positively and actively is also significant.
After evaluation through written review, presentation and interaction, the 5 winners will be selected and encouraged to participate in international conferences for youth to deepen the impact in environmental action.
Every week, APRC will report on the environmental actions of youth leader on the youth platform. We hope to provide information to interested viewers, and even to replicate successful environmental actions in other areas to amplify the impact.
